I'm going to go with somebody posting false information on this one. There's no way Rockstar would put this sh*t in the game. Oh dude chill. Me and my friend were talking on MSN yesterday, he's a huge fan of Panic and Fall Out Boy so he decided to edit the GTA IV's soundtrack wikipedia page. Now everyone's bitching! It just harkens to how their was a much closer blues/rock relationship in the 1970s. I happen to get a kick out of Bee Gees SNF in there, but at the time Kill Disco was the rock sentiment in the late 70s. At that time Kill Rn'R was the punk's rallying cry. Either way, it looks like they just wanted to mix things up a bit more and add more in game diversity, however I feel they went with bands like Arctic Monkeys which I have NEVER heard of, much less heard and they don't get airplay here that I'm aware of. I live West of NYC by a few states, but I have lived my whole life in Central US. I am not sure why they gave the game such a strong foreign flavor. I know they have to cater to a large audience on the World stage but the game is supposed to FICTionally be the USA. I laughed with Aaron Garbut referred to putting Lorries in the game. I think he's spent TOO much time in Scotland! We never use the Brit terms here, unless you're Britney Spears on a 'freak' episodic outing! Hope Ur Feeling Better! Rockstar will NOT put ANY of these artists, not already confirmed, in the game, use your brain) and we've got people defending Panic in the dancehall and Nickleback, I don't understand how your head does not explode when you hear this mainstream contrived pop non-music tripe Not all of them are faked, some are, I won't make snap judgments on it, but I can tell yoiu what was mentioned some time back, and would therefore be assumed correct... Fall Out Boy's version of Beat It has to be amongsat the top 4 worst things i've ever heared in my life. Nickleback is pop rock, and not some thing I'd buy but I wouldn't go out of my way to single them out, there are far worse musical atrocities let me ASSURE YOU! Pop Divas are down right annoying as scraping a chalkboard to me I'd think a known cover by a band with no good originals (Fall Out Boy) Eat It by Weird Al would be much better, but even the Michael Jackson song they chose is not known by me, again he's a US artist so I'm not sure if that was a single or no. I loved having Lionel Richie in Vice City and they should have put him in the Disco segment Fixed above Typo.... Adding this...
