Fanboy's piss me off. They think they know everything, but they know nothing. "darf darf teh 360 is teh beszzt. it haz teh onlinz." You guys talk like 360 is the only system with online capabilities. The PS3's online will hold up very good in GTA IV compared to the 360's because of the extra features Rockstar has made such as a unified leaderboard. @ OP: If your friends have 360, then it's probably best to get that. If not get a PS3. Homwever, if I was in your position, I would get a PS3 because the 360 is already "spent", as I like to call it. Their big hitters are already out, and what is there now is what you're gonna get. Sony has only released a few of their big games and most of them are coming this year.
