I've had plenty of 360 games early (up to 4 days before release) and never had any problems, even with playing online. I think MS just accepts that people are going to get games a little early, and it doesn't necessarily make them pirates or thieves. As for Sony... no idea, but I'd assume it's the same. What if a store was selling a game before release and it was bought by a customer who didn't even know when the release date was? It'd be pointless banning him for an honest purchase. I also remember that a retailer in Europe sold a few copies of the game early, and I don't recall reports of the customers getting banned on XBL, only the store getting fined/sued. But judging on the recent thread where people keep pointing out that videos are being "mysteriously" taken down from sites like Youtube etc, I'm not expecting much success! I'll try my best though!
