thor79 Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 technically he's correct....he'll be playing earlier than 90% of the country...because chances are let's say 1% are picking up the game on release day...and of that 1%...let's say 30% will be getting it at some midnight release. Then you can factor in timezones which means if this guy is on the pacific coast of the US....he's got an 18 hour difference from when the first people will be getting it and playing it. You could be generous though and say there's only a 15 hour difference if he's on the east coast....but is it really necessary? I just wanted to try to quantify it all. I'm expecting to get my copy 26 hours after the first people get there's on release day (16 hour difference between Chicago and eastern Austrailia+10 hours since Gamestop doesn't open till 10am)...and I I fully expect that there will be plenty of gameplay vids before I even get wake up on Tuesday.
