what a joke Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 this is a personal rant so please fogive anything said in the "red mist"! i pre-ordered a copy of gta iv in july(!) only for game to say that my trasaction did not go though today. when i spoke to them this afternoon there was now no problem with my payment but i could not keep my top place in the que and would have to go to the back! so here's my case i've made the choice to hit the stores on the 29th. i have a 24hr tesco near me but think that the electrical dept will be closed till bussiness hours. will shops like currys pc world ect have shop floor copies? thanks for all the help you can give a desperate man. By way of his Time Traveling DMC DeLorean. This way you can travel through time and buy the on the 29th. An then travel back now and you will be able to play it. needforspeed01 Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 I have a feeling your nto going to have a problem finding a copy, ie) bestbuy, eb games, blockbuster, futureshop, etc they are all ordering more then the normal stock for other games.... I was told thsi by an eb games employee, he told me there shouldnt be a problem with picking up a copy of gta 4 anywhere, he even said that if I were to come back 3 days after the inital shipment of games comes to eb games.. what a joke Posted April 22, 2008 Author Share Posted April 22, 2008 thanks for any and all help, just spoken to a guy who runs a game shop with an ebay shop window. even though ebay is full of false promises,you have to take a gamble and he has bet his 100% + feedback on being able to get me a copy of gta iv for the 29th of not by the 28th, and all for £37! so screw you game i save £8 and no frantic store chasing. The night manager may even take it upon himself to get the boxes ready for midnight. Thats what happened after i went home on the release of halo 3 anyway...
