AMMO?

Hey guys and gals Im new here but have been spying for a while lol, anyway I was wondering if there will be different types of ammo , like hollowpoint rounds, full metal jacket and non lethal like rubber bullets.

I doubt it but it would be cool also they could have different effects like the hollowpoint rounds blow stuff apart and so on would like to read your take on this, I searched and could not find anything, if this thread already exists or is in any other way useless please lock it!

It would be interesting, but I'm pretty sure guns just have 'bullets'.

I did read somewhere what you can buy ammo separately from the gun itself. So maybe.

They won't be doing that. I doubt the developers or most of the players know anything of terminal ballistics and ammo types. As someone, said before, they'll probably call them bullets. "Bullets" are incorect because that only refers to the part tat exits the barrel, cartridges would be proper for refferring to one round of ammo. They'll also probably call magazines "clips. "Clips" are incorrect because they refer to something not used by modern firearms. If your rationale for saying clip is that it's shorter, I assure "mag" is even shorter. If you say clip because you heard it in a rap, you're an idiot. I'll be happy enough if they can tell the difference between mags and clips and bullets and rounds.

I would love to see different ammunition types as well, but I doubt that GTA4 will be that realistic, even though they are introducing an insane amount of realistic elements to GTA4.

can you use a font color that isnt almost identical to the forum background?

it makes it really hard to read and i think the purpose of replying is so that people can read it
