DDR Midian
It'll probably work Crackdown style. The game lists the last 30 or so objects you came into contact with and remembers their condition and placement. Anything else is subject to disappearance. Hodder
Have you guys played VCS or LCS? I have both on the PSP, and they don't suffer from this. I think it was fixed when they stopped using Renderware as the games engine. I was playing VCS last night and left a car parked near the Ammunation Downtown. I then started a mission and failed. Caught a cab from the hospital and when I arrived back at the Ammunation it was still there, driver's door open, parked at an angle on the sidwalk. Made me smile a bit. jakesp
I think what we all want to know is how big a pile up to explode can we create before they start disappearing.

Chillyo
IIRC, Kikizo confirmed this is still the case... unfortunately. that cant be true! i mean, in multiplayer, if 1st player turn around and the 2nd player keep the same direction. the cars on the 2nd player screen will disapear? Dwaffles
Wouldnt happen like that online I wouldnt say because I doubt there will be free roaming peds and other moving cars on MP, so the game could store more objects and remember where they are online. I may be wrong though.
5HT2a
There is still pop-up, draw distance and disappearing car problems in the game, however they are NOTHING like they were before. I forget which review I read that in, but I definitely did. We will have to wait another console generation for GTA to maybe be perfect technically. But that doesn't matter too much. It will still be an artistic masterpiece like we've never seen before in a video game. Honestly, how much did these problems really bother you in SA? The only time that it ever pissed me off in that game is if I wanted to blow cars up in the Harrier. Other than that, it was out of sight out of mind. frynsesmadrer
i don't think it will be like that but i think it was awesome in mafia that you could leave your car/guns and they would stay there despite how far you might would want to go away

Dude there Will be Peds and Traffic just like normal when playing MP. The only thing that can mae them dissapear is if the Host of the game changes their settings to Zero. Which I doubt many people will do. Isnt infact GTA a game which is supposed to simulate real world?

Thescorpionx
Something i didnt like about gta, was that sometimes youre walking and looking for a car, and there is none, no car parked, none in the street, then BANG a crap load appear, but all the same model, all cabs, all pick-ups etc.. Rambone2007
IIRC, Kikizo confirmed this is still the case... unfortunately. This isn't entirely true. One of the reviewers said that it happens infrequently, as opposed to it happening ALL THE TIME in previous GTA's. The guy said that in the 2-3 hours of playing it, he noticed it 2 or 3 times.
