GrandTheftWalrus
whoever would risk their job for a bloody video game is a total goof. its a video game store...minimum wage, crap hours, you could get ANY job like that whenever you wanted it. if i worked at a video game shop, i would steal it, 100% for sure. i would steal it in a smart way though....like "sell" it on "accident" to a friend, etc. the real goof is the person working for a video games store & worried about losing that job....lol your logic is that of a child's. A real adult would see any job as a responsibility, and not let a stupid game dictate whether or not you will be employed.

j wheazy
i think youre missing the point....you work at a video game store....that job pays minimum wage.....you can get ANY job & make that same amount of money....i would take the risk of playing the game early without question...its a double bonus, you get fired from a sh*t job & get to have some entertainment, you wont get arrested if you "steal" it the correct way, like selling it early to a friend you seem very narrowminded to me. you seem like you have your life going down a path. if something happens & you get bumped off that path, you might be in trouble....its a sh*t job that doesnt pay well....if you get fired, you arent losing ANYTHING, in fact, you might actually get some ambition & do something that will actually better your life, instead of being stuck in a dead-end job, which is EXACTLY what working at a video game store is my wife wants to get a job too...i wont let her though because she is worth more to me staying at home & taking care of the kids. working at Bebe isnt going to be worth it to me, i would rather just pay her a couple grand to do my laundry & clean the house, etc. just because you have a job, doesnt mean its worth it or even that its profitable. GrandTheftWalrus
I probably don't make as much as J wheazy, but I also worked at fast food joints for many years before I do what I do now, these places taught me important things about life, like patience, respect and humility. Now I'm 24 I own a crew of three and we go across Canada installing, repairing and maintaining rear view cameras on Waste Management sanitation vehicles. If they're working in a game shop, they have a long way to go up the ladder of life yet. I know people that have lost their jobs 3 years in a row just because they couldn't get time off for music festivals. If you're employable, and your boss doesn't want to lose you, I'd go for the risk. I'm just saying that because I only have the Standard Edition reserved. A job at a video game store can pay bills. You obviously have no sense of money, and the fact that there ARE people working at video game stores that ARE paying bills. I don't believe anything you just said anyways. Also, 2000 square feet is not big. Nice try, trying to brag. I'm not impressed. No, the fact that you wouldn't value a 'crappy job' isn't what makes you irresponsible. It's the fact that you put down others who have crappy jobs. dicemanstyle
I already have a criminal record for theft and would quite happily steal a copy. Unfortunately my record prohibits me from gaining a position at a retail outlet. I might have a word with some skag-head mates of mine ask them to break into game or gamestation to get me a copy for a ten bag of smack. Gotta love smack-heads sometimes. j wheazy
Yeah, ok. Let's get fired from a job that pays our bills, so we can lose our home, education, car, etc.. Also, let's risk going to jail for something that's coming out in 6 damn days. I really, desperately hope you're joking, because if you aren't, you seriously are the biggest idiot I have seen on these forums, EVER. Also, you say you make 6 figure salary? HAHAHA. Thanks for the laugh. Anyone who made 6 figures would be responsible. You're not. exactly my point.....video game store isnt paying your bills.....unless youre rolling around in a pinto & live with your mom im married, have 2 kids, own my own house, brand new 2000 sq ft. bought it when i was 23, im pretty responsible. just because i wouldnt value a crappy job makes me irresponsible? Everyone totally believes you. truly. who lies about being married with 2 kids....haha also, you didnt answer my question....did you really need to flip burgers to figure out how to install cameras in bumpers? haha now thats the joke how about this...instead of flipping burgers like a moron, you could have gone straight into installing cameras when you were a teenager as an apprentice. imagine how much MORE of a company you could have if you were in the business for over 10 years by the time you turn 26? Oh. My. God. Ok, that's just like me saying, "Ok, instead of STARTING A CAREER PATH, you can go straight up, and be the president of the United States!" What you said is INDICATIVE of a child. You're not who you say you are. If you were, you'd know that THE WORLD DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.

It's the fact that you put down others who have crappy jobs. nice try trying to brag??? about my 2000 sq. ft house...its not big & im not bragging, im simply stating facts. i live in a nice, 2 story starter house, its NOTHING to brag about, its just where i live. i dont believe im bragging about anything. youre saying im irresponsible, im saying im not & unfortunately i have to try to back it up by stating facts

To answer your question yes, I did indeed have to flip burgers. and with flipping burgers came learng to deal with the public, and learning to manage my money, and learning to deal with coworkers and working under stress. You might have missed these things what, with your super jump to fame and fortune, us little people had to start small to get bigger. See, it's not just about flipping burgers, you don't see the forest for the trees.
