Reading it, i dont even think they were including multiplayer as their reviewing it next issue. Anywayz, they gave it 98%, their highest ever rating. + oscar worthy dialogue + unfeasibly rich gameworld + inspired mission design Conclusion : Everything we were entitled to expect, and yet somehow impossibly more. "Rockstar have surpassed themselves, delivering unquestionably the definitive GTA and perhaps the greatest videogame of all time. Take your bow fellas." Now i'm even more hyped for this game, which i didn't think was possible. I do agree that OB got a higher rating because of how many games you get, but honestly, I'd take Bioshock over HL2. But a 98 for gta is awesome. I had the Orange Box for several months. I would give it an 81%, 20% comes from having 5 games in one. Portal and Team Fortress 2 weren't very good. The single player games weren't worth playing several times through, and TF2 was unbalanced (even for a class based game) and not very fun. Huge spawn times made it very boring and on LIVE it had HORRIBLE latency. 10 years of development and we still get an unfinished game. BioShock. It sucked. I played for 45 minutes then got bored. Way overrated. Gears of War was OK, but definitely not worthy of a 94%. Story was confusing, even for the 3rd time through. Online was terrible, lagg and the only way to win was to abuse the cover system. The only one in the top 5 I can say (in that group) should be there, and with a proper rating is Vegas. These are my opinions and my opinions only, unless you agree with me then be free to defend viciously by all means. I think GTAIV should be a rating like 98%, but I'll have to wait and see. But because you can only play multiplayer on LIVE or PSN, no LAN, I'm quite pissed at that. That is a big thing that Rockstar should have included. I am VERY pissed off at that. Macauley Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 Well OK, the main reason why I'm so extremely pissed off that there is no LAN is because, while they say is has been confirmed that it is online only, I don't fully know if that is the case. I just hope that they are wrong. I'm the only one in my area that has LIVE that is going to get GTAIV, but I have to play online, which as we all know is full of sh*t and frustration etc. and I can't play LAN with my true mates with no horsesh*t and lag and unplayable servers.
