PS3...XBOX360

Hey Guys,

 

I've just been having a think about GTA IV and how big this game is going to be and it got me thinking....

 

PS3 uses Blu Ray and can store up to around 50gigs of data and the 360 still uses DVD which is about 9ish (dual layer).

 

Just wondering if this affects the game at all and how they can fit so much on one disk?

 

I'll give a to the first person that says derrrrr compression!

 

So how big (in terms of data) is GTA IV going to be on Blu Ray?

Garbut:We have some very sophisticated compression algorithms that are working some black magic on the data. We're used to squeezing a lot onto a disk.

this being sortta on the same topic type thing we know the 360 one was compressed but would the PS3 one be compressed aswell?

 

im positive it wouldnt be but ive never really looked into that type of stuff
