I dunno why it says that it will ship on the 29th, but they assured me that if it does not arrive on the street date I will get a full refund of my shipping charge. The guarantee is still standing . And I thought it was spelled out to me pretty heavily when I bought "new" games from that were scratched to hell. Best Buy is the way to go I have my GTA IV reserved there to pick it up on the 29th. And keep in mind if you do store pickup you won't have to pay shipping. You can cancel your order anytime through Gamestop online. However, most mailing places tell you it is coming a day later then it actually does because they want to be sure they don't tell you it will be there early and it doesn't come. I would expect it to be there on the 29nth despite what the order status says. Or you could call in sick like the rest of us and go to the midnight opening. Yeah! I didn't order per se, I am going to pick mine up on midnite as others are doing, all paid for in advance and no issues.... No damn $10 over retail. I am so pissed right now as I paid 10 extra dollars to have my game arrive the day of, and now it will arrive a day later. Anyone else find this out and get pissed off? Check your order status and you will probably be very unhappy. It's f*cked up cause I ordered from them when they said it would be there on the 29th, and now they switched it on me and I wasted 10 dollars to get it on the same day I could have gotten it from Bestbuy for free. F*ck Gamestop I will never order from them again after this. If they don't know what date they are getting it on they should at least be honest about it. Dude, I called them and they said the same thing, don't listen to them. You will get your copy on the 29th, they ship it 1-2 days early to ensure that you actually receive it on release day. Why do they tell you sh*t like that? Hell if I know, they told me the same thing, yet everyone received their Halo 3 copy the day of release. Glad you get your refund as I mentioned, that would be bad biz. Also, my Gamestop has been NOTHING but nice, that's why they get my repeat business!
