Lost Receipt etc

Ok so i preordered the game at the local gamestation(Grimsby) in march and so the receipt didnt get all tatty and horrible i thought id put it in a safe place in my bedroom, that safe place seems to have been the opposite and now i cant find it, i went into the store today and some guy who looked like he was on work experience said i will still be able to get it, i asked if they were still opening at 12 he said yes(i wasnt sure because grimsby isnt exactly a big gaming community, ill probably be the only person there!) on the way out though i heard him saying to the other workers "does anyone even know about that" if they decide against it last minute im not going to be pleased. Does everyone agree i should still be able to get it, i think they took my details and number so hopefully itll be ok.

 

To top it i got home stuck dead rising on(i dunno why!) and my xbox over heated on me(not the first time), rang xbox they said it needs sending off and worse my warrantly ran out june last year so it was going to cost me £65!, i told them b*llocks basically are they mad gta next week! i did the only thing any self respecting man can do and rang my mother, talked her into getting me an elite for christmas, early of course so come tomorrow it should be ok. I had considered getting it on the ps3 but i figure with the extra content and gamerpoints id be angy at myself later if i did.

 

Found out on the website that you can transfer all you data across with a cable thingy, has anyone else done this? and if so how long does it take to get to you?

 

Also even further off topic i have xbox and ps and i find myself only having blu ray films and four games on the ps, the exclusive ones(heavely sword, motorstorm, resistance and drakes fortune) yet over 50 on the xbox, i downloaded a demo on the ps3 for burnout though and put it on the 360 at the same time it seemed the ps3 grahics were better and it was set at a different time of day, anyone tried this or have any explination, no fan boy answers please.
