Switching controllers

I know this isn't exactly the right forum to ask, but I didn't really see a better one. I also found a similar question but it wasn't really answered (so I'm guessing it's really impossible, but it's worth a shot).

 

I have a steering wheel for xbox 360 and I was wondering if there's any way to switch or dual-use it with the standard wireless controller in-game on the fly, so that you can drive with the wheel and be all pedestrian-ish with the standard.
