GTAIV is doing well with the hype, love how Rockstar do things, keeping everything wrapped up and then letting us experience it for ourselves. Well I don't hate it, it is O K I believe the original halo was ultra hyped because the xbox CEOs and fanyboys didn't have anything else to brag/get excited about. Halo is an OK game, Halo 2 is a slightly better game and Halo 3 is a tiny bit better still. But all of them aren't even as good/fun as goldeneye in its time. Oh and PS: xbox 360s are awsome I have one, not a PS3. So I'm not bashing the system just the hype that is the Halo (I like to call it sh*tlo) franchise. Flame on, sh*tlo fanyboys, flame on. You cant really compare the two games though at all. halo is a good fps and gtaIV will be a good sandbox game. two completely different games shouldn't be compared like that. Gog Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 I never bought a Halo game before, but I bought Halo 3 based just on hype. The single-player sucks, but the multi-player is pretty damn good. Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 I've never played Halo 3 as I have a PS3, but from what I heard from my mates, they got was too hyped about the game and they said it turned out to be more sh*t than an actual piece of sh*t, hopefully I won't get overhyped with GTA 4, but hopefully my remaining hype will be fufilled. And when it finally got released people were disappointed. I see GTA4 going the same way, seeing how people are creaming their pants by the mention of GTA alone.
