I'm a Christian, and if someone made a drawing about God and making fun of it, I'd be offended, but why would I try and take it further? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and they're simply expressing it. Fair enough, you can feel offended, but that's it, you can't do any more. And lay off the Turkish guy; obviously, English isn't his first language, so do you really expect him to be typing like he's been studying English all his life? I totally agree with what you're saying. As for not believing in God making you a bad person, I don't believe that's the case at all, but I was under the impression that Christians believe good deeds alone are not enough, and only those who truly love God are allowed into heaven. Otherwise, it's purgatory for all of us. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Yeah I will acknowledge that alot of that is true, the agnostic superiority complex that is. I just found his reason for not believing in anything to be ludicrous, because we haven't found anything yet it must not exist. I doubt god would be hiding under a rock somewhere. At least some athiests don't believe in anything because it logically makes no sense and they are fed up with religion as a whole, not by mere observation. Mainly that the individual is lost in mob mentality. Free will has no place in a church or a mosque. It's all bowing and grovelling and humbling yourself before others. Faith is more powerful when it stems from a measured, private commitment. Anarchy for lack of a better word, no structure, no human heirarchy, no small little men using belief to validate their sins. Groups of people who think that they, and they alone, are chosen by the Almighty can be very foolish and very rash. Just look at book burnings, great literature thrown on the bonfire because of a supposed impurity. Did anybody stop and say "Hey, maybe we shouldn't be doing this?" No, because the blathering of sheep drowns out all reason. A little sanity is not too much to ask for is it? And yet people would incite murder, murder, over a drawing. Just let the world be.
