After countless meetings and hours upon hours of phone calls, blood, sweat, tears and a one off meeting inside a toilet (inside joke) and ShopTo are proud to announce that we will now be able to (subject to it arriving when we have paid for it to arrive and in full order quantity) fufil all pre-orders of Grand Theft Auto IV on both XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 with both normal and limited editions for all pre-orders made before Saturday 19th April 2008. "Ok, thats great news but when are you guys gonna ship?" As predicted by myself and many others months ago, Take2 sent us a street date agreement that we have had to sign which means we cannot ship until Monday next week, this also includes an embargo on staff getting copies either paid for or free so alot of us are in same position. When will we be charged for the game? We are going to charge customers accounts on Sunday. How will you guys ship the game? As normal we will ship via royal mail first class recorded for next working day delivery (99% of the time) but please be aware that we will NOT be held accountable for local sorting offices being slow and not getting your game to you. The limited editions will be shipped via our 24 hour courier service with TNT. What about the PS3 & game bundle This information will be updated later today when we receive final word on this one. Can I pay you guys extra to recieve faster delivery? We are unable to send this title via any other method also so please do not email in asking for special or courier delivery. Is your stock going to be UK or European? The stock will also be a mix of UK and European, there is no way to guarantee a certain version for anyone so if you are not happy with receiving a European version feel free to cancel your pre-order. Is there anything we can do to help? Be patient and please dont litter the forums with "My game has not arrived yet" threads, we will be strict on this sort of thing and people will be banned If your game does not arrive on release day we are truly sorry but the reality is that it will only possible happen to a very small percentage of you. We will be working through Sunday to prepare all envelopes. I would imagine that all online retailers will be in the same boat so depending on delivery method the earliest time would be the 28th. Unless of course we're all using our friend who works in a game shop and is the half brother of Take2's chairmans wifes daughter. If the shop is even on the public radar the chances are you're not going to get it before release day... And the moral of this story...
