chuckben
alright I've done the best I can and there's always atleast one dude left on the train... is there a trick I haven't picked up or do I just suck... I avoid the first car with minimal time away from shooting... i get in front of the train when there's the oncomong one... I take the high road with minimal time away from the train... WHAT AM I MISSING?...ps I know I'm years behind here but I only just got time to get into it

Wolf68k
Try getting a bit a head of the train and drag back. I've also seen a trick where CJ gets way ahead of the train, runs up a big rail (while still in Grove) then jumps onto the train or he just shoots everyone from there I forget which...my guess would be the jump onto the train. Then the same idea but CJ gets above the entrance to the first tunnel then jumps onto the train from there, gives you more time to get ahead of the train. I might try to find my savegame that starts me on that mission and try those ideas some time unless someone uploads one here.
crazyanurag
Try the strategy and video here: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=255467 I don't want to plug my own topic, but I've always found that to be an easier way to do "Wrong Side of the Tracks." OrionSR
The videos linked below contain a montage of alternate strategies for completing Wrong Side of the Tracks. Many of them are more difficult than following the train at the proper distance for Smoke to get in a good shot. The 1st video contains various bike stunts to get CJ and Smoke on top of the train. The 2nd video offers several more practical solutions. In the clips where CJ is using weaker weapons, more time if available before the next obstruction that knocks him off the train.
