self Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 So, the other week I got a magazine called CVG (Computer and video games). It's a GTA special. Basically they look through the history of the series and they have a preview og GTA IV. As I was reading it last night I noticed something strange. "Cops don't shoot you over the smallest thing either, and your guns come from car boot sales (really) now ammunation is gone". So, what do you make of this then. Well ok then, but that magazine seems to have worded it incorrectly. I love this move R* did, it gives the game the feel that weapons aren't as easy to get as walking into a store and picking up an m4 or grenades. I wonder if you can kill him- or will it be one of those scenarios where the only time you actually see him is in a cutscene which would make him 'unkillable' for the moment. It is said that you can kill secondary characters (as opposed to those that hand out missions of the main strand). As for their being no Ammunations, I had heard that a while back- I like that they're not in. Don't get me wrong, it was nice to walk into a store and just buy up stock but seeing as this isn't rags to riches and money is going to be harder to come by, a store just isn't a viable option. I like the idea of getting them on the black market because NO immigrant is gonna be able to walk into a gun store these days and purchase anything- soon as the Feds kick back that he doesn't even have a green card, he's locked up.
