Security for such things is much tighter now and gaming publication isn't even getting "review copies" they have to visit Rockstar's nearest location of choice to do the hands-on review over a 3-day span. isn't that taking away a bit of the spirit? I don't give a shiesta about spoilers (well, maybe a little) because anything will make the wait a bit less of a nightmare. thats because bungie isn't rockstar.. they know what there doing. i dont thinki could handle gameplay footage this close to release it might make this last week go by slower than the last 3 years. All the work that has gone into the game by R* the least i could do is wait till the 29th and experience the game with the rest of you guys. Also, they deserve my £40, and if they turned around on the release day and said "wait, its gonna be £80, empty your pockets" i would hand over the cash with a big smile on my face. R* must work harder on their games than anyone in the industry, games should be priced according to the quality of the product and if that was the case i think it would be cheaper to buy a 360 than it would be GTAIV. RHK313 Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Simply because R* doesn't want any leaks, I remember when Halo3`s leaks came out they only leak things that already announced by Bungie (i.e we did not see a video of the Hornet before they talked about it on B.net) Another reason, maybe because they are not throwing away demo`s and beta builds all over XBL !! like bungie did with Halo3. They probably scheduled their shipping very good, meaning that the copies will likely not arrive until a day or 2 before the day that mails can be send.
