Do you know any software to make intro movies like the one from Vice City and GTA 3 with the shaped in pictures.

I would like to make an intro for my mod and I really need a good program.

Well there isn't a specific software to do that sort of thing, but it can be done in various video and photo editing software. You can probably use something as simple as Windows Movie Maker or something higher scaled such as Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere. You will also need a photo editing programe like Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, etc...

 

Basically take an image that you want the video to take place in (speed boat, plane, cassette tape, etc...) and open it up in a photo program. From there select the object in the image and delete it and have the background be transparent. Then make the the surrounding area of the object whatever color you want. It is hard to go into more detail without knowing which program you are actually using.

 

In the video editing program place the image (which needs to be a .GIF so it can remain transparent) and place it on top of the video clip timeline. Therefore you have the image sitting on top of the video. The video should now be playing inside the transparent object.

 

Like I said before, it's pretty hard to tell you what to do without knowing which programs you are using. Hopefully this gives you an idea of what you need to do in order to accomplish this task.
