Good question. They say you can't dive underwater, so I don't know what's gonna happen if you have to bail as the car is sinking.

you'll probably sink and not be able to open the door like in real life it's impossible

well if they were going to do it properly he would have to break the window and swim through that

Is it confirmed that he can't dive?

Would be a shame, I quite liked to swim around underwater looking at all the jellyfish etc.

maybe you've got to button mash to pry open the door in time as the car is sinking. that would be cool

It could be like III and VC, you open the car door and stay on the surface, but this time you don't drown

nah i dont think they would make niko die if you crashed in to water, same as a few others in that he'll probably just get out and swim to the surface.

which is fairly realsitic anyways as it sounds like most cars you'll be driving will have smashed windows so therefore it would be easy to get out of a sinking car as theres no pressure.

ok....? of all the things i could do in San Andreas for E.G. drive off the top of mont chiliad, gamble $1,000,000 and lose it all then get crazy people chase through the desert after me or drive a jumbo jet along the moterway. But no, people admire the jellyfish and the clams.... WTF??

Mythbusters dude. You have two chances, when you first hit the water you got bout 15 seconds to open the door or window. after that your only chance is waiting for the car to fill so the pressure is equal.

cars should slowly fill with water and sink, then they should be towed out of the water and sold at a police/council auction.

To get out of a sinking car smash the window and climb out.

He will no doubt swim back to the surface (possibly out of the window we smash to steal the car) .....Same if u jump of the bridge or w/e into the water..because he won't bounce cool.gif

That would be cool if you ran the car in the water if it cut to a cutscene and you had to do button combination to escape alive. Lol, that would be awesome. Either that or have it for like a mission.
