AllElseFailo Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 I was trying to change the sound of a car and of course couldn't do it but somehow it took out everything in my audio file, now ican't even run the game and i really don't want to reinstall it since i already have it at 100% complete with so many different car skins.. any solutions? Drippin'187 Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 what i recommend is to take out your edited img files, such as gta3.img or watever yu modded, and save them to your desktop, then uninstall and reinstall the game. replace the new img files with your modded ones, then start up the game. all your save files and settings will still b there since they dont delete when you reinstall the game, youll have all your custom cars, and your sounds will be there Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Girish Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Either do what Drippin'187 has suggested or if it doesn't work, just plain reinstall the game and delete the set file from the User Files folder.
