Old Xeroxes used some sort of chemical to copy paper, and when the papers were fresh you could smell them to get a little high off them for a bit. If you've ever seen Fast Times at Ridgemont High, you can see the kids doing this in a scene. Now Xeroxes work different so it doesnt work.
