My friend down the hall from me was doing that exact same thing with an Elite and one day... it randomly got RROD. Luckily the got it from Best Buy so he was able to just give it to them and they gave him a new one. It can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere. Four of my friends have the same, and only one has had RROD, years ago. This was sorted quickly, and he got loads of free stuff as composation. One has the RROD right now and one knows the repairing process by heart lol. And I own an Xbox 360 and I have it back since about a week from repairment So its not that rare dude! The gameplayer article asked whether MS would have a plan to deal with GTA IV releated RRoDs... looks like the company took note. Well... I've had my 360 since launch date, sometimes its been used 14-15hrs per day, never no problems. I'm lucky?no, if %30 of consoles have been returned,this means %70 are still being used, and wheres the facts to sugest all %30 are returned because of malfunction? Get a life! lordmalak Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Meh i have a had a 360 since release never broke down and i unpgraded to an Elite console a few months back so far im yet to hear of a problem with an elite so im fine on top of that even if my console sh*ts itself my instore warrenty from game ensure that i can simple exchange for a new one!
