So say you got 20 guys on screen all those shots need to be rendered etc.. For some reason terrain is harder to render then say a city i think. But your right games can use up more memory and processing then others which in turn will increase temps. However i think games such as Halo and Cod4 work the 360 far harder then what GTA4 will. Seriously, that's all you can say about the 360, because it's a near flawless console, only bad thing you can say about it is the RROD. Also, did you guys read the interview with Hideo Kajima (spelling I know) who said...himself that the PS3 may look powerful, but when they actually tried to use it to it's full potential, they found it to be less than what was advertised (so to speak). Each system has it's core advantages, and why you people must bicker like little children over your nice hunks of plastic is beyond me. We are here for one reason, GTA 4, the which is sure to be one of the best games ever released. And we all can agree on that right? Now, STOP YOUR BITCHING AND PLAY NICELY CHILDREN. Every time you turn a 360 on there is a risk it may red light on you... Its just a really crappy hardware design... I hear the new falcon models last longer though... Helgy Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Ive had my 360 for over a yr now and nothin is wrong with it! i mean i dont play it that much! i dont go playin it for god knows how many hours straight (as ive read from some forums), maybe that will change on the 29th! lol but i dout i will play it for long long periods at a time! people complain when they say they got the RROD but i bet they play it for like 10 hours a day 7 days a week! well no wonder thats happened! i jst think people should quit worrying bout it and just ENJOY the game for what it is, because if u think about it to much u will lose the magic of GTA IV! I don't know how old you people are, but some of you clearly think that every GTA player out there is going to be just like you. Well here's some news: this forum represents about 5% of the GTA buyers. Halo 3 was a big game, but its small fries next to the massive mainstream day one pulling power of GTA. Six million copies in the first week they reckon. And if some geek Xbox fans Halo 3 console died and he got it replaced in a week and bitched about it in a fourm so what. What seperates GTA is that RRoDs with normal consumers will become a mainstream news story, not somethig for the bottom end of forums. That is the difference. That is why this could be a disaster for MS. Could be... unless MS have a way of keeping it quiet like maintaining the highest possible level of customer service through this period. The 360 is an American made console, so it is going to have the most problems, like most American Made cars. Yes, I own a PS3, 360, and Wii, and my 360 has f*cked up the most, and I had to get an Elite. My Elite hasn't got any RRoD yet but I don't play it much. I have had both my Wii and PS3, played them for many of hours with no problems. If the 360 was a Japanese manufactured product, it would work a lot better than it does. Please note that I live in America. Yes, electronics always have their problems, but the 360 is one of the most electronically impaired things that I have had in a while.
