wweadz
In The Past GTA games if you had maybe one star and you drove/ran down an ally there was a possibility that ally had a star. Once you'd collected the star one wanted star dissapeard. My question is, Does GTA IV have this feature becuase i know about the new system with the cops and im just interested
Jops
Removed to embrace realism. Alternately you can now evade police (think cat and mouse)
GTA VLSA
I don't know if it does, but it would suck if it didn't. EDIT: There goes another detail lowering my hopes on GTA IV. Edited April 21, 2008 by GTA VLSA
beardedbastard
I would guess no. Pretty certain guess. 90% Think I read it somewhere.
bonesmccoy
It doesn't seem like it. I think the few reviews and the many previews have all mentioned that the wanted system has been completely re-jigged this time to make it more realistic. ie, if you want to lose the cops: hide. This seems like an improvement. I hated how in the other series the police would follow you willy nilly no matter how fast you drove, where you drove and so on. Now it seems like a bit of sneakiness gets you out of trouble.
wweadz
I don't know if it does, but it would suck if it didn't. I'm not sure. I think in the new game you would need them becuase everytime you see a cop you have to start over with the "if you cant see me, U cant get me" thing. I didnt use them in the other GTA's

It is one of the first previews. I think it is when they talk about the new police system; the radar area thing. I think they may also talk about there being no healthpacks too. Sorry I can't remember the exact article, bro.
Shootin_spree
they wanted to create realism. a bribe star floating in the middle of an alleyway, just doesnt seem that realistic to me.
ceedot
Nope. No health, armour or bribe marks. Not sure about though.
beardedbastard
No armour floaties? So you just purchase it now then? Also, why would they remove armour floaties if guns still float when dropped? Or do they? Does any one know? I'd prefer realistic guns that just lie on the ground and that Niko has to physically pick up.

Wait, so now you're not lookin forward to it? Kinda shallow dont ya think? I am still looking forward to it, but just not getting that excited as i was when San Andreas was coming out, because there are some details taken in San Andreas that aren't in GTA IV that i really liked. Expect an answer to your query, of sorts. It's ALLEY, by the way, and a star is what is shown as your WANTED LEVEL... a Star SHAPPED Icon on the map is referred to as a BRIBE.
