hg199
I know split screen is out and that's perfectly understandable, but has anyone read any information on Systems Link? I don't have a problem using the online networks, but it would fun to be able to setup in the same room, with two tvs, and two consoles.

toxicshock1911
I was wondering this myself. I have found no such proof one way or the other.
cash68
Screw paying for games every month. I think I'd get hte PS3 version just because I don't have to pay to play.
hg199
dont be such a ball bagand use/buy xbox live But if were in the same house, in Australia at least, you can only have one internet connection per phone number. So I either double my phone/internet cost, or buy wireless, which is not cheap. It would make life a lot easier if GTA 4 support systems link - but I am guessing by the responses here, we don't know yet.
Doggson
dont be such a ball bagand use/buy xbox live Dont be such a retarded c*nt and realize that playing vs randoms on live is sh*t compared to playing against friends. Ontopic: They mentioned Lan in one of the previews when they tried multiplayer

hg199
well is it gonna be like gta SA were u were both on the same screen?? I doubt they'd include an option to do that, as in SA it was flawed. Having to stay within a couple metres of each other, having to be in the same car etc.. kind of dumbed it all down. Online will obviously be the multiplayer pinnacle, but if they include system-link, then you could have your own screen, playing with a friend offline. (As long as you have 2x TV. 2xXbox, 2xGTA).
