Isuck100%
10/10 So they changed it to .5s, didn't know that, if they give it 9.5 then f*ck gamespot. San Anrdeas got a 9.6 because it was reviewed before they changed the rating system. Check the ratings for any newer games and they will be in .5 increments. I predict a 9.0 or 9.5. angrycupidstunt
I'm leaning towards a 10 here they gave games like Gears of War, Halo 3 and Oblivion 9.5's both incredible games though well atleast gears and oblivion are, but compared to GTA 4 it is easily a ten. Mike0
I dont care what score Gamespot gives the game. I will only predict that it will be somewhere between 9 and 10. A score for a game is just to give you an orientation on whether the game is good or not.

josh_sunny
Ive heard there are minor glitches..but that doesnt really interfere with the games's rating...it might get 9.6 coz...most of the games which were given 10 or anything close to that on other websites n magazines like obliviot....got only 9.6...and gears of war also has got only 9.6.....but..the first halo....has got 9.7..so....the rating might probably be 9.6 or 9.7..... Mike0
It seems some people are really excited by a rating of a game. Excited dude: "Wow, 9.8, dude, wow.. hehe" Another one says: "That should have been a 9.9 if not 9.95 for sure, what are they thinking?"
mahatmahatma
I'm gonna go ahead and say 10. Based on the games that they've rated with the .5 incremental system, and the 'awards' or merits or whatever those games have been given - it seems almost inevitable. Though I wouldn't be surprised with a 9.5. In perspective, even a 9.5 would put GTA in the absolute top tier of games available today, on any system, according to Gamespot, who are generally sound reviewers. That's good enough for me. I get pissed when I see a review that doesn't honestly critique a product - but biases I can understand, that's to be expected with any review. I very much doubt that there will be many reviews for GTA below a 95% aggregate. It will be more interesting, I think, to see what games GTA trumps in the gamerankings.com top 10 of all time. I'm predicting a top 5 spot, at least.

Macauley
I'm not familiar with GameSpot's scores, but I guess GT's score will be 9.5. It comes from the multiplayer. If it didn't have multiplayer, I'd say it would get a 9.1, since every game needs a multiplayer. But now that is does, it might be looked at critically I'm guessing the multiplayer will be good (great for friends to play with each other), but there might be unbalanced gameplay, messed up connections, server search difficulty, and possibly easy to exploit bugs and not having fun against an experienced team (well you might have fun, since you get the chance to drive and do really fun stuff instead of getting frustrated). ryuclan
I'd say a 10 because they can't give it a 9.75.
JamesEarlCash
If they can only rate in 0.5's then 9.5. I think they will definitely leave some scope for improvement in future iterations of gta this generation, as will all the major online and print media. I think IGN scored the last series (hopefully) perfectly: GTA III 9.6 GTA: VC 9.7 GTA: SA 9.9 9.5 would be appropriate. Perfection comes later.
