RyanLR*
I have GTA reserved at GameStop under my name, and I'm 15. I got to thinking, dos it have to be reserved under my Dad's name in order to get it since I'm not old enought to buy an M game? It says my name on the receipt, and the cashier told me to bring proof of ID. Do I just say, "Oh my Dad's over 17." The thing that throws me off is that I have top bring ID and my names on the receipt. I thought of this today and now I'm a little stressed out... Otherwise you might be screwed.
Darkgamr
Breathe easy, bro. Give them the reservation name, have your Dad show the ID, and everything will be good. I've gotten stuff that was reserved in my Dad's name and gotten it picked up with my Mom. The reservation name is just so they know whose is whose, they don't care if its the same person who is picking it up

defibrillator
Think of it being similar to getting a seat at a restaurant's. You can have a kid reserve seats but the parents will still pay.
Zikomos
In the United States, do you have to be 17 or 18 to purchase 'M' rated games? Because I'm 17 (almost 18) and don't want to be denied when I go to purchase it.
UKBenz
If it's pre-ordered in your name that's fine aslong as one of your parents go and pick it up for you, legally they can't hand it over tthe counter to you but if your there with your mum or dad that can hand it over. It's just the small regulation with handing over the counter. Nothing to worry about
firetron
From what i hear about Gamestop, there gonna be judging your parents for getting you this game
Raptomex
As long as your parents are with you. They'll pull that garbage.

Coltrane's Muse
So long as you bring valid identification, green card and proof of vaccination, you should be fine.

xXSh4d0wB4n3Xx
Yea ur good as long as you bring a parent..or in my case, a cousin, (thanks Jackie boy for demonizing the GTA series and causing my parents to think it is the most vile game on the planet).. Im 15 so i understand the position ur in. Screw the ESRB. And you might wanna be quick about the transaction, because the counter guy will try to pull that BS with ur parents, like 'u know this is M-Rated and contains violence, sex, etc...' So just pay for the game, show the id and get the f*ck outta there..
