maka08
Buy it from Costco (If you have that wherever you are) and then return it. Costco is the best with returns.
needforspeed01
I have a ps3, I haven't heard of many ps3's breaking randmoly or that Towel issue with the 360 lol but I feel for you man, it almost seems like we lost a soldier knowing that you wont be able to play with the rest of us in 7 days....=(
Slamman
Did you try typing in a search for Broken Xbox on YouTube? I saw one where they taped a battered 360 up and repackaged it (not very well I might add!) and tried returning it to several stores. The attempt was not that well handled, but it might work if you claimed it just died after you bought it. Without receipt, not much luck.. Places like Walmart would allow an exchange, or perhaps Target as well
CaptainDude
Got owned dude..., well, if you have friends with 360, 20$ bribe can make your day Good luck with your 360 dude, i have heard rumors from PS3 forums... , they return you the 360 with cum on the hard drive

E-lasto
Hah. The, buy new one, swap old one, return for refund, trick works great! I am not gonna' lie, I have done this multiple times with my headphones. Mind you, an XBOX360 is more risky..

I'm also quite experienced in that as well. But it is indeed not right to do, yet i can't resist. Edited April 21, 2008 by GTA VLSA

shady555
take the broken one into gamespot or EB games, and trade it in for store credit. put the store credit on a card, and go to a different Gamespot/Eb games and use that card toward a new 360. You gotta pay some money but you'll get about 90 bucks out of it...and no waiting btw: The store credit card will work at Eb games or gamespot, cuz they're all owned by the same company. BobsYourUncle...
You buy a new one from a store, change the plastic stickers around on the back of the console between the new and the broken one, and you return it for a refund, and enjoy your shiny new 360. Nah, jk. That would be breaking the law =D I TOTALLY don't recommend that <_< Really. Don't do it. Even though it usually works. You shouldn't. Don't all new 360's have HDMI and older ones don't? Doesn't matter, if the stickers are changed, and they get a broken 360, they won't tell the difference. You could get away with it easily, and quickly. Though I would advise against it. Because it's bad. And it works. But it's against the law. Because it makes you not have to pay for something. But don't do it. Seriously. Great idea

Slamman
Renting at Blockbuster, sound like the best idea in the meantime! Most people will devote 24 hours non stop to playing it in the first session anyway... For me, Maybe 48 hours! hahaha
