Neolistic
Will you be able to speak directly to the other team through proximity voice when close like In halo3. This is the only reason I still find Halo 3 fun is because you can tea bag, and trash talk your enemy at the same time. I'd like to think this would also make its way into GTA 4 to increase its playability level for some people. I know some people enjoy the thrill of owning someone, and then telling them directly how much they got owned. I'd hate to see such a great feature like this missing in one of the most anticipated games of all time. If it is missing than halo 3 will still rain supreme in the voice department. Just think of the possibilities this would have on say a cops and crooks game. For instance picture a group of cops setting up a road block to trap an incoming convoy of crooks. The cops could yell out "Freeze you are under arrest", (while the convoy gets closer to the road block). Than on the crooks side they can say something that a crook would normally say "YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE" (while plowing through the road block, than laughing as they make the getaway) Without proximity voice it will be just some random chase with some random people who you most likely won’t connect with, making it seem like a pointless pursuit. What do you guys know about voice options?

Neolistic
It is disappointing no one knows anything about voice chat on this forum. It may be one of GTA's flaws since its not talked about anywhere.
DCRJonez
I how you can just voice chat... it would be cool to see the characters talk with your voice. Although I'm not sure it would cramp GTAIV 's style... Afterall the mic quality is not that great as all the other studio recorded sounds in-game... WellsMcK
You can teabag in Grand Theft Auto. In SA:MP you just crouch .
Brock653
I read somewhere that there are options. You can choose team chat on/off, voice proximity on/off, so on.
TheTerminatorNY
I read somewhere that there are options. You can choose team chat on/off, voice proximity on/off, so on. Yeah, it was in one of the multiplayer previews a few weeks ago.
