Johnny Burbank
GTA IV is one of the most hyped games ever, but it indeed meets the standards for 10/10. It is easily one of the best games to arrive in the new generation of gaming, and is absolutely the best GTA in history. Yeah, but will it be fun? I think a lot of the "best" movies are rated so for reasons other than "Do you enjoy watching them 100 times and never get bored?" That to me is the definition of a great movie, and only a few fall into that category for me. I still play VC to this day, as well as SA. I simply always enjoy messing around in those games. I'm wary of "reviews" by professional journalists. All I know is whenever a journalist describes an event I went to, for example, the way they describe it never matches how I saw the event, what it felt like to be there, etc. So I think Houser, for instance, wants a great review b/c he want to be taken seriously as an artist, and part of that is getting the journalism people to start talking about you in serious ways. We'll see. I just hope the game is a blast and I never get tired of it. I don't care if it's rated "the best game ever" by journalists.

Macauley
Bioshock was overrated. and I hated it with a fiery passion! AGREED! My god it sucked. I played about 45 minutes and now I'm never touching it again. I can't agree on that Halo 3 was overrated, it is the best LAN game, but online isn't as good.
