Royal55
Do you think that Rockstar decided to make your character talk as you speak with your mic in multiplayer? I was just thinking about It and decided that the characters detail Is incrediable to begin with so why not add (I don't what It's called) voice recognition(?) to your character and your character will appear as he or she is talking when your talking. This was suppost to be In GoW but It never happend for some reason. I don't know It's just a thought.
NJ~
I think their mouths will just animate when you speak. Nothing more, nothing less. Bit like in Rainbow Six Vegas.

That was put in Rainbow Six: 3 for the Xbox (not sure if it came out on PS2 also), We may see it for GTA IV, but we might not also. Edit: I guess it was in Rainbow Six: Vegas also (never noticed on that game).
Royal55
Yeah that's exactly what I mean, sorry I'm just a bit burnt out from a long 4.20 and It's a little hard to explain things.

R_A_LEE202
I'm wondering if you can hear them normally when your stood next to them and there voice goes quieter and quieter the further u walk away from them. Also calling them and talking to them that way, that would be cool.

In a PS3 GTAIV Online Review, it's said that as host, you can toggle Teamchat(only your team can hear you), Open Chat(anyone) and Proximity chat(like you said, if you're in the vicinity of a team mate or enemy, they can hear you, and you can hear him. The closer, the better.).
smokeythedemon
even counter-strike 1.6 has the lip syncing and we all know how old that game is.
