Gun Problem

I don't know why but when i tried to replace silenced and colt45 with new guns silenced took not only itself but also took colt45 so now there's only silenced and silenced instead of silenced and colt45

You're trying to get the Silenced Pistol and the Colt .45 and have them both in your possession? That's your problem

You can only have one weapon of choice in that category

 

1 Pistol - Desert Eagle

1 Shotgun - Stubby Shotgun

1 Assault Rifle - M4

1 Rifle - Sniper Rifle

there are a total of 12 available SLOTS on your game character (CJ):

 

1- FISTS (which can be equipped with the optional BRASS KNUCKLES, but bear in mind that once you do that these babies are NEVER coming off... )

 

2- MELEE WEAPON - can be a KNIFE, BASEBALL BAT, GOLF CLUB, SHOVEL, POOL STICK, POLICE BATON or a KATANA (Japanese sword) - these are itens you swing or use at close range;

 

3- PISTOL - (on the game it's referred as a 9mm but it looks a .45 Colt to everyone..) ; SILENCED PISTOL or .50 cal DESERT EAGLE

 

4- SMG / MACHINE PISTOL SLOT - here you can carry an Uzi, Intratec 9 or an MP-5

 

5- Shotgun - Pump-Action Shotgun (Police); Sawed-Off Shotgun (Double-Barreled) or Combat-Shotgun(Semi-Automatic)

 

6- Assaut-Rifle - AK-47 or M4

 

7- Rifle - Country Rifle (Winchester Carbine) or Sniper Tele-Scope Rifle

 

8- Trown -Weapon: Frag Grenades, Molotov Cocktails (incendiary) , Tear-Gas (harmless to CJ) or Remote- Controled Explosives

 

9- Gifts Slots - Flowers, Dildo or Vibrators (for the Girlfriends)

 

10- Parachute

 

11- Tool - Night-Vision/ InfraRed Goggles

 

12- Spray Can OR Camera

What about the heavy weapon slot? Which includes: minigun, heat-seeking rocket launcher, bazooka, flame thrower and for the 8th, there's also camera and fire extinguisher available.

you're absolutely right, I forgot those..

 

the CAMERA, SPRAY CAN or FIRE EXTINGUISHER all go on the SAME slot.

 

and the PARACHUTE constitutes a GIFT (same as Flowers, Dildos, etc..) even though you can't GIVE it to anyone.. LOL

Haha lol, giving a parachute as gift. ROFL, the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. Actually as far as I'm concerned parachute goes in the slot with night-vision goggles.

 

The cane is there as well, can't be given as gift though.

is there a way to tweak weapon.dat or whatever and have weapons stop sharin the same slots? id really like to have grenades and moltovs or rocket launcher and flame thrower, etc.

I doubt if that can be done. You can try looking through the modding forums for help on that.
