mark4091
I don't see why this is a big deal I'll just listen to music off my ipod through the 360.......
gta95
This is not exactly a key feature. Its not like we ever had this feature in a previous game either. You guys just love get rowdy over small features that a rightfully removed.
T.I.P.
It's a video game, not an iPod commercial. I don't see what the big deal is. They've said you can hear music at pretty much all times when you're on the street from passing cars.
Shootin_spree
oh well. it wasnt in any other GTA, so, ill get over it.
Wargarble
once the xmb for the ps3 is available during gameplay then it wont matter.
L33t Masta
once the xmb for the ps3 is available during gameplay then it wont matter. How long did it take for them to implement that? I've had it for years on my 360.

VladimirGlebov
I'm glad its out. It would just become annoying to use. iPods will work fine.

goldsoundz
What kind of person on the run from the cops listens to a mp3 player while trying to evade on foot? They're going for realism here, bud.
Jonny04
Music is music. A book is a book. A film is a film. A game is a game. You are damn lucky the songs provided in GTA is good- they actually go to the length to make such a good radio experience, Who the f*ck cares if they can't listen to their own music- well tough sh*t, go listen to it at another time. If not then why not listen to it instead of playing GTA IV because this great feature is gone. What tough sh*t- its not exactly confirmed anyway as EGM screweed up with 14 stations- maybe they screwed up again. More to the point dry your eyes- or of course go grab a car to listen to music too. And also the walking radios well thats just tough.
DDR Midian
What kind of person on the run from the cops listens to a mp3 player while trying to evade on foot? They're going for realism here, bud. Not many, but plenty listen to them while strolling down the road. The only reason I don't like this decision much is because I want to hear all the radio stations. Simple as that. This way it forces me to stay inside a vehicle while I listen, instead of having the freedom to get out and shoot a few bitches/climb buildings/whatever. Considering how so many people were getting excited about the radio stations I'm surprised they're all suddenly acting like they don't give a damn. doodlydoo
So now all people will cry just because this is cut from the game big deal the games still going to be great.
steakncheese
I can see why they did it. They will have thousands of realistic sounds that immerse you in the city and create a really unique atmosphere. To have music playing in cars and out, just sh*ts all over that. L33t Masta
THE ABILITY TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO ON THE GO IS STILL THERE. Otherwise the whole call for the song name thing would be useless.
goldsoundz
And if you really want to play music while you walk around just open up the Xbox Guide blade and start playing a track or album.
Niko>>>all
Considering how so many people were getting excited about the radio stations I'm surprised they're all suddenly acting like they don't give a damn. Im pretty sure those people planned mostly on listening to the radio stations while driving. Not everyone's like you lol. Im excited about the new radio stations too, but I never planned on listening to them while doing other in-game activities, as sound is probably an important aspect of gameplay. Tell that to those people who bought it on the PS3. They don't have that feature even though we've had it for years.

Mad Tony
Firstly, it's old. Secondly, it's hardly a key feature. I key feature is something like stealing vehicles or shooting people.
NJ~
Hold on, we actually could listen to music while on foot? One HELLUVA big deal that it's gone now, right?
DDR Midian
I can see why they did it. They will have thousands of realistic sounds that immerse you in the city and create a really unique atmosphere. To have music playing in cars and out, just sh*ts all over that. So? It's optional. If I like I've got the option to turn the f*cking sound off completely, how's that for sh*tting over their atmosphere.
Jonny04
THE ABILITY TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO ON THE GO IS STILL THERE. Otherwise the whole call for the song name thing would be useless. No moron- you call while driving what did you think- Niko would follow the law of not using a cell phone while cruising? (I called you moron for your ignorant CAPS lock ) and no its probably out- i'd prefer it that way so i can listen to the what was it 7000 unique sounds used for just the sound of the city. Steakncheese yes I like how the cars you can hear what radio tune they are playing in a realistic muffled sorta sound, and slightly clearer boom if the window is broke or open. OF course not all cars will be like this so you don't get overrun with the same boring sounds- repetition gets boring of course- where other open world games fail
