Ive booked a week off work so i dont think ill be turning my xbox off for at least a week. easy 8 hrs a day. best get myself a fan for cooling. Geez, gotta take a dump now and then (reading the manual), eat to support those dumps, minus passing out from sleep deprivation/booze/baked....I calculate about 23.3 hours a day for a week. Aristo_69 Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 I'm organising my work schedule so I can have least the 29th off, seeming as I'll get home after the midnight sale on the 28th and play it until like 7 am in the morning. Have a fifteen minute powernap and get up at 7.15 and play all day. I remember when GTA 3 came out, I was a bit younger. My dad had a go at me for playing the game from 7 am in the morning until 11pm at night, with two stops for toilet breaks and food. Now that I'm older (20) even my own mum is hyped about the game, she told me to take the day off work and another day off uni just to play it. It seems like R* is contradicting itself. On one hand they want us to savor and revel in this city of theirs, and then on the other they are encouraging players to crash through it in the fastest time possible. I realize that the people who finish the game first will be famous in a way, but won't this distract from people just trying to enjoy the game at heir own pace? Anyway, I plan to just play through the game at my own pace, but then the competitor in me wants at last to make a stab at making the leaderboards. I'm kind of p'oed by the whole Social Club thing.
