So many problems and bugs with it, errors out the ass, slow, non-original. So do you want him to get the new Apple gaming console that's out? Give it a rest. @OP - mine froze within the first week of having it, but it's been decent since. Its just a shame it happened to you, and not the rest of the PS3 wankers who diss 360s for the RROD. Things break, by design in Xbox's case or just by bad assembly (your case). As long as the manufacturers are fixing them free of charge all will pan out well... Face it, you've waited since like 2 years ago, its just another week tops mate. rowben86 Posted April 20, 2008 Share Posted April 20, 2008 If you have a 40GB ps3 then try this which the people at Sony do when you send it them back: Put your ps3 into stand by then switch it off at the back, hold your finger on the eject button while switching it on at the back and the fan inside will blow all the crap out of the ps3. It'd be so much better if we just talked about GTA:IV instead of arguing over which console is better. Both consoles with look exactly the same anyways, with just 360 looking brighter and PS3 with a little better anti-aliasing. There's nothing too huge there to talk about. Even when it's not about console wars in specific... people make threads about their PS3/360 dying, which leads to fanboy posts and pointless arguments. Anyways though... that will never happen. Mine was reconditioned and bought from Gamestop, it still works flawlessly, and right now, it's LITERALLY covered with dust... It is dusty in my place all the time and at some point I'll need an air-filtration system. I think the BD drive problems are related to the OEM drive problems with past PS2s, Sony had the most errors with that part of the console so I wish you luck.
