How do I change the time from 24 hour to 12 hour?

On this board, where it shows what time someone made that post, it says some crazy number, like 00:54 or 17:23 or whatever.

 

Well, I know that stands for time, but 24 hour time. I want 12 hour time, and I can't find where to change it! I can only find where to change the time zone.

 

Is there a way to get it to 12 hour time?

And how quickly can you tell the difference between 02:05 AM and 02:05 PM? 02:05 and 14:05 is a lot easier.

I myself prefer the 24 hour clock, as it is universal and not just the US like the 12 hour.

Actually, that's a common argument for the 24 hour clock, however I do know you mean with regard to the forum, not looking at a clock to get the time

 

Just knowing it is day or night is an automatic am or pm when you look at the clock. The 12 hour system is pretty solid in that you will never mistake 10pm for 10am. It won't happen. You won't even compare the two; truly one is 10 and one is 22. And you automatically know it when you get used to the am/pm/12 hour face. It's cool because you tell time with actual feelings and responses, reactions, instead of "this hour is this number, that one is that one." It heightens your perception of time, the 12 hour clock, by mending with your "knowingness", not just dictating the time "It Is".

Anyways, um, it's really easy to tell the difference between 12:00AM and 12:00PM. It takes...... .5 of a second...... Different countries, different clocks, I guess, because for me it's much easier to have 2:05AM and 2:05PM rather than 14:05 or whatever.

Svip has maintained the same demeanor you see here, even well before the staff even made him a moderator. I doubt they're going to revoke that decision because he made fun of someone that can't tell time.
