Californian
Hello GTAforumers, i'm thinking of getting Sony Vegas since i like to make Music Videos and GTA videos, the cheapest one is only $75. But i have a question, is it way more advance that "Windows Movie Maker"? and what are the differences from 'Vegas movie studio', 'Vegas movie studio Platinum' and 'Vegas Pro'? I'm assuming it's only sold online, but is it possible to get it at stores? Thanks in advance. Link, Here is the Sony Vegas site.
YourNeighborhoodKiller
I've heard it's much better than Windows Movie Maker. You should try one out.
Nemek
Sony Vegas is much more advanced than Windows Movie Maker, and allows you to do a LOT more with your videos. is a great tutorial for version 7, if you have a spare 45 minutes I'd suggest watching that. It shows you a lot of what Vegas can do. and what are the differences from 'Vegas movie studio', 'Vegas movie studio Platinum' The Platinum DifferenceVegas Movie Studio Platinum software has everything that Vegas Movie Studio software has and more. You still get the easy drag-and-drop video editing, integrated DVD layout and burning, and Show Me How interactive tutorials. Plus, Vegas Movie Studio Platinum software provides added features, advanced editing tools, professional video effects, and more, such as: * HD video editing: HDV and Sony AVCHD * 5.1 surround sound mixing and encoding * Direct export to Sony PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) * Over 100 video effects and transitions from NewBlue®, maker of professional video effects plug-ins * Advanced 3-wheel primary color correction tools * 20 AniMattes professional video compositing mattes from FreedomFX® * Over 20 DirectX® audio effects Good luck! Californian
Thanks guys! I've downloaded the free trail (Sony Vegas Pro 8), i'm thinking of buying the $115 one for sure. Sony Vegas is too complicated for me at this moment, but that video that Namek posted is a lot of help, thanks.
