The HUD looks shoddy, I know the 'minimal' look, which is by far the best (Getaway was great for that) but the gun icons looks very poor. And IM a GTA Whore ..... I joined this forum to look and critque the game at a high level, but this is too much. I literally am stunned that you all will complain about everything...even the hud. This is a new low. Instead of siiting on your computer and bashing GTA IV for the next two or so weeks until it comes out, lets try gettinge excited for a GTAIV. It's the first next gen GTA, it has already received two perfect scores, and all the previewers say it's amazing. There's better things to focus on. Nah nah, the low point was about the license plates. When I read that topic, f*cking hilarious. Anyways, to the topic about the HUD. OMG! But! I'm sure that when I play the game, I won't be focused on the HUD. I mean, its not like when I play the game, I'm all: "OMG, the hud is crap so the game is crap." I don't think so. Don't think so, they intended it to be this way, small and minimalistic so it doesn't get in the way of the real action going on on the screen and that's a good decision rockstar made. Oh, and my favorite was SA...to whoever posted that thing. How do you know they didn't rush the HUD? There's a lot more that goes into a game than just the HUD. Has the game even gone gold yet? I don't think they spend all their precious time on the HUD, but the thing looks like crap to me. It's the weapon icons that are the worst, though.
