TheAtomicMoose
look at this first: http://www.gtanetwork.it/gta4/Images/Screens/15_04_08.jpg okay, I don't remember there being reloading in any other GTA game... so this leads me to believe that the white text is the cash, whilst the gray is the ammo, which would make sense since it is the same color as the gun... anyone with me? Hobojoe4eva
There was reloading int he old ones but it did it auto if you switched weapons and back again. I think the white is the spare ammo. Yeah he has a lot but I assume either he cheated for it or just bought a ton of ammo. Money always has the $ in gta games ever since gta1. In the pictures with the shotgun the white is like 62 and gray is 3 or something that seems likely for the amount of spare shells he'd be carrying. MIA Brenzinski
I dont think this gta will focus on gun action realism. Just look at this vid notice how bullet caps magically come through gun chambers without any blowback. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds0Y9iw-K1Y
SuddenSight
i doubt they'd miss out the dollar sign lol, you most likely use the ATM's for cash.
SerenUnderdog
well the gun relaoded in SA, just it was automatic and you didn't have to press a button...also i never seen a "reload" mention on any of the leaked layout Edit: there is also a screenshot, one of them new ones from fan sites that has the $ mark and it's under the ammo counter
2eZ
I made a topic about this already...I thought it was the same thing but apparently the money is only shown when your buying stuff then it disapears
cntk
In the pictures with the shotgun the white is like 62 and gray is 3 or something that seems likely for the amount of spare shells he'd be carrying. for some reason i'm led to believe it's the other way round. ie. the weapon is loaded with the amount in grey, and the amount in white is the spare. in the shot with the smg you have 30, in the shot with the shotgun (spas?) you have 10, in the shot with the pistol 2, and so on.
