Man, I'm gettin' hungry... anyone wanna go abort some babies with me?

When I was 23, my girlfriend got pregnant. I was thrilled, she seemed happy about it too. A couple of weeks later she went and got an abortion without even telling me. Worst day of my life when she told me she did that. I broke up with her a few days later and have never talked to her again. It still kills me to this day the way she did that. I know women are the ones that have to carry the baby for 9 months, and I know child birth can be hell, but that baby was half mine and I had no say at all as it was killed. Ugh, pisses me off.

 

Abortion jokes are never funny.

But we'll have the last laugh. Our blood lines will go on. These idiot people who have abortions, when they die, that's it. Nothing to remember them by. It's like they never even existed. I don't see how any person with an ounce of pride would just want to piss his life away like that. At least leave something behind, no?

They aren't funny to you because you had a bad experience with one, they're funny to everyone else. Just like I'm sure jokes about the Titanic wouldn't seem hilarious to people who were there.

I'm glad you shared that. I think a lot of people forget that abortion affects and effects more than just the mother and the baby.

Back to the OP's topic: I have a 4 month old boy (he rocks) and the wife and I plan on having 4 more kids after him. No, GTA games, or any violent/adult targeted games will be available for the youfs to play in our house. I know enough about child psychology that there are some things children should not see or do until they've attained the mental capacity to understand it.

I let my kid play the GTA games, but this one I'm kinda weary about. Shooting people and hitting them with cars is fine with me for him to play, I just don't like it when he hears drug references and sexual themed content.

 

 

I'll play it(I mean burn it the funk up) before I'll let him play or watch me play.

Hmm. You know I have been coming to this forums for years now. Im mostly a troll. MAYBE once a year I decide to make a topic, mostly from the fact that these forums are 90% full of useless sh*t like the responses in this thread. I asked ONE simple question. All I asked was for you friggin kids to leave this one alone. You have every other fukin thread in this forum to piss all over and you still cannot resist the urge to further spread your immature feces on this one.

 

To all the Dads or Moms who responded, TY. And I appologize for the bullsh*t kids who were asked to stay out. I guess jokes on them tho. Fukin little retards brag about being smart and having good GPA's...but are still too fukin stupid to read and comprehend a simple request. I will most likely get "flamed" for my comments above...but reall, even they know how much of a fukin retard they are if they commented. Thats why they will defend themselves and give lame ass reasons like " I can do whatever I want...I can post wherever I want...blah blah blah..." Just goes to show you the average age on this forum is pretty low. Man....thank god my life wasnt as pathetic as you fools when I was your age. I don't think doing so instantly makes me a retard.

I feel sorry for those who use the word retard in derogatory manner, and think of those people in a completely different light.

 

I would have expected a nine-year to use the word in this way, but from someone who is apparently a grown adult, and one with kids at that?

A dad of 2, one a 2 year old boy. He's not really interested in games yet. There have ben times when I've been playing FFX11 and he's come in the room... I feel a bit uncomfortable letting hm view "daddy" cut up a monster so I tend to turn off and play with building blocks or jigsawa with him.

 

Tv is more of a problem. We have had to really think about what he sees on TV... even the news can be quite shocking for a young kid of that age. My wife was watching a daytime soap opera the other day and someone got pushed down some stairs... he was quite upset by it!

 

It can be so difficult to be objective about the things we are so used to seeing ourselves, everyday. If you think about it a lot of it isn't really the best thing for a young kid to see.

 

He'll not be playing games for a while yet amd certainly not GTA until he is MUCH older.

Since I've posted here, I can't help myself but to contribute in some way.

 

As stated, I'm not a father, but concerning young children and GTA games, well I live with my sister and her son and I play GTA quite regularly - even today I play GTA3, VC, SA all the time.

 

My nephew loves helicopters, so whenever he comes in I grab a helicopter and fly around.

Under supervision, I let him fly the choppers. Sometimes I even let him drive, especially the fire truck as he also likes "Fireman Sam".

 

He has been doing so since he was about four, and he turns seven in November.

 

He does know what you can get up to in GTA, and has gotten as far as running people down and shooting people, but that didn't last long.

After being warned about losing flying and driving privileges, he quickly stopped that behaviour though.

 

Now days he doesn't play much, he knows it is a "bad" game, but reassures us all that when he "grows up" he will be playing GTA.

 

I think it is quite cute.

I guess in eight years when he is legal age to buy the game, we'll be seeing him on these forums.
