I was playing CoD 4 this mornign and some guy who's on his like 9th Prestige Kills me (I'm Level 39 on first go through, GT: AceOfDeath666) and he's like "I own3d that n00b LOL FTW!!!" then i sniped him like 5 times and he said i was Hacking and i said "i don't know how to hack anyway you nerd" and he started f*cking yelling at me about how i probably haven't even beta CoD on Veteran and how his World of Warcraft player is a higher level than me and i don't even play WoW!!! They are the ones that are having a bad game, but they can't just sit there and take the beating or admit they're getting owned for that matter. So they just complain and complain about why they can't do anything. It makes the game less enjoyable for people like me, I personally think the mute button is one of the greatest inventions. Vertical Bird Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 its just that on, for example, warhawk, all the top ranked players always go in planes and fire giant missiles at you all the time, and when u try to attack them, they just fly away, if they're so good then why are they in bloody planes all the time while other people are on the ground?!!?!?!??! I know, really. The other day I was playing Warhawk online, I was in the sky with a Eucadian Airplane until suddenly a Cherovian plane is right behind me chasing me for about 5 minutes. It ticked me off real good. Oh, and ummm... Yes, I hate that camcorder missile, it's so cheap. It's only good use to shoot a person who has the flag or used to destroy turrets, not like 30 people in their bases right when they spawn in the beginning of a round/game. Has anyone ever heard of Counter-strike? That's one of the most high-rated online games ever, and instead... there are l33t h4xz0rz! PS: Holy, I haven't posted here in ages! I actually played in various levels of CAL for maybe a half-dozen different teams, and I was considered what one might call an 'elite' player. I don't say that to sound cool, but solely to demonstrate that not everyone who's good at gaming is a nerd, or immature. I used to get comments like that all the time. "You're so good at CS, but I bet you're a loser in real life! Get a girlfriend, fatty!" Alas, I've always been cool. Never a nerd. AceOfDeath666 Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 i remember once i was playing Ace Combat 6 and some guy was missile spamming and i had him on ym team on the last game and he was REALLY IMPATIENT so i flew about 100 feet behind him in my F-22 and got a Lock On him and just kept it without firing and after about 5 minutes i get a CHat Invite from him and when i accepted it, he starts yelling "WHY WON'T YOU JUST F*CKING FIRE YOU GODDAMN NOOB!!! FAG! FAG!" so i exited it and sat for another 5 mintues with a Lock and i got another and he said very politely "Please Fire" and i said "Well..... Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 You also need to distinguish the difference between a nerd and a geek. 1) A nerd is someone of above-average intelligence, and who has an uncannt ability to be smart. 2) A geek is an individual who has little friends, is fragile, has little friends, and is often teased and bullied. The people you are describing are geeks, not nerds. They have nothing better to do rather than play a video game. As for me? I'm a nerd. I'm smart (don't want to brag about it, but I'm in all the top classes) and I have a lot of friends, and am active in sport. I never am picked on at school, and I have a girl who I fool around with.
