Slamman Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 Vice City was often referred to as GTA IV. I am almost certain that is what wiki is reffering to here. Liotta will not appear in IV. A most reasonable assumption. I may have called it that as well, in passing. STILL, people can't live and die by comments they make, at any given time there could be a change of opinion or he could clear up he was not dead serious in such a statement that Sam mentioned, however I think he said that both he and Dan were persuaded to just go after new 'faces' so they could make the game's characters the over-riding factor, not the knowledge one gets when they're playing a celebrity voiced protagonist. In the simplist terms that means one is not lifted out of the story by the recognization of the famous actor supplying the voice. We will have some sort of cameo in GTA4 as stated recently, however, I don't think it will be anyone close to Niko, but someone he meets somewhere in the thick of things. (not early on in the missions) I personally hope we see more then one reference to someone famous or a past GTA character...
