Skippy Magoo Posted April 15, 2008 Author Share Posted April 15, 2008 did you see the quality of these screens im hoping its just because there blown up because they looked like ass if you ask me. just a personal opinion. i think we all over hyped this game and on april 29th were all going to have a little dissapointment even though this game still will be epic. go and play SNES or N64 and then complain about graphics. please try to have the maturity of a 13 year old at least. As previously discussed for billions of times, R* always apply a filter to thier screens for lots of speculative reasons...maybe one of them is to prove to people like you not to judge a book by its cover. yeah because i actually thought the scans looked great. You were being sarcastic when you said "scans always look great", meaning they don't always look great. This is not 'next gen' etc. Well f*ck YOU!!! All you have to do is compare screenshots of San:An on PS2 and IV and you can see an IMMENSE jump in visual fidelity. All bitchy whiners please note; 'next gen' is more than just graphics, it's not just visual stimulation, it's aural as well. Many people in the media have noted how f*cking awesome the sound is, how R* have nailed the NYC vibe. Now let's think for a moment all of the details R* have put into IV, the phone system, the in game Internet, in car GPS, the physics and Eu-f*cking-phoria. Multiplayer for up to 16 people, more than 15 game modes, and co-op missions. Comedy clubs and cabaret, 18 in game radio stations, sublime voice acting and cutscene animations. Seriously if you whining f*ckers think that this can be done on PS2 or that this is no better than GTAIII then f*ck off and play that, admittedly awesome but, 7 year old game. Now personally I think the graphics, considering the scale of this game, f*cking rule. I believe that R* have gone above and beyond what any sane person could and should expect of them. No games company has EVER attempted a game of this magnitude. There is so much stuff we still don't know about this game that will simply 'blow our f*cking minds!'. Now before you carry on bitching about a bit of clipping in a screenshot, or that Niko's jacket looks like gay, I want you to seriously think about how much time, love, sweat and tears has been poured into this game over the past 4 years. This is entertainment. This is our entertainment. I for one am sick and tired of people nit-picking at such trivial things every time a new batch of screens or videos are released. You whiny selfish f*ckers. Roll on the 29th, I am fully ready appreciate what is going to be the biggest video game release of all time. AWESOME GRAPHICS AND ALL. I can't wait and I think the graphics will be amazing, which is great considering graphics have never been priority with GTA games as far as I'm concerned. In fact I've been playing it lately while waiting for GTA4. It doesn't compare. There's WAAAAAAAAAAAAY more detail in GTA4, and the lighting is much better too. Grand Theft Auto has always been about the freedom and choice you have, the main gameplay etc. However the graphics in this installment look great and quite amazing in most areas. Considering how big the jump is in visuals from the previous titles. Even on my small standard TV the graphics will probably still look excellent. Vice City and San Andreas were beautiful games despite the fact that the graphics were lacking. The cities were stunning when you think about it. The more memory they spend on graphics the less there will be for gameplay features. IMO I rather have a game thats fun to play then nice to look at. I enjoy playing GTA III today and I still think it's good visually. GTA IV though, has f*cking amazing graphics. It must be sensational when actually playing it though.
