Maybe the HUD turns a bit lighter/blue-er when the background is black? That way you can constantly see the information you need..

Doesn't seem like there's any reason it shouldn't always be like this:

That would be clearly visible at all times.

Probably flashes blue and red. Y'know, police siren colours.

When you say, I remember reading about the Minimap flashing red and blue. I even made a animation of it in my HUD thread.

Allthough not the same way, i did the Map border, not the search cirlce.

It's the green half-circle on the left. The blue half-circle on the right is armor.

I LOVE the HUD. As for the filter use, I guess you have to understand that they need it for the game to run smooth. I'd rather have a filter on then to be in a chug fest FPS wise.
