Mag-got
Make the collision model's part where the line is higher, so it covers more on the Z axis. it might be so that the collision part for the player is not there, or then you have to make the line a box, it really doesn't matter because you can't see the col file ingame. You should actually just make the whole police line a box, or do you need to be able to crawl under it?

I just exported the col from the model in 3dsmax, ive got no clue how to make a proper col. JCV is that thing you made there works then u are awesome. Mag-got
Kam's COL IO's export doesn't work right, the COL files don't work ingame. Download Steve-M's Collision File Editor II, export to 3DS in Max and create the COL file with CollEditor.

Mag-got
Maybe JCV forgot to set the target version to 3. 1 is for GTA 3 and VC, 2 for the ps2 version of GTA SA and 3 for PC version. Right-click and set version to 3 in CollEditor Edited April 18, 2008 by Mag-got

This topic is otherwise confusing and strange to say the least? Come again? Edited April 19, 2008 by derty
nabo45
Steve's COL IO works just fine, it's just got some problems with mirroring the COL in wiered ways, and moving it too. That's why I always use Deniska's CST exporter instead, it's so much easier.
