soleil
Wasn't it made in Scotland? Scotland is in the UK This is ironic because every day on this forum, there are British and Scotish getting into arguments with each other, and not in a joking way. It might start out as a joke but people get offended and a serious argument starts. But when it's pointed out that GTA started in Scotland, suddenly the English take the attitude of "we're all Brits here..." SloppyJoMo
I am proud. I am also thankful to be alive to witness all these great gaming releases like GTA, MGS4 and the rest. I am glad I was born when I was . . . You don't know that you will be alive to see either release . . . HA! Funny that you say that. A buddy of mine is THE biggest MGS fan I know, possibly ever. Really. But he's been having this reoccuring nightmare lately that he dies right as he is unwrapping the plastic off the MGS4 case and doesn't get a chance to even play it. Like every night. It didnt prove anything, Im english but I used to live in Scotland, its a great country, Im not 'embracing' anyone. Just to get this clear yeh. Great Britain: England, Scotland, Wales United Kingdom: England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland Just because I used to the generic term to describe the Rockstar North company as from the UK is completely true. Plus, as someone said before, the houser brothers are from England. So, pointless argument

No, the people that came over were kicked out of Britain because they were too uptight for Britain. That is some uptight pilgrims, good thing the indians were there to set them straight. Ottae
I think the reason of all the hatred (too strong?) between England and Scotland is because we're too separate countries under one title. Some Scots want so to be independent because they don't want to be associated. I do agree though, when England does something, It's English, but when Scotland does something, it's British. Lol, same with Welsh or Ulster.

thor79
Proud to be part of a species that created such a fine game...what have those chimps ever done that is so great?! Fact is the development team is made up of people from multiple countries (not just the UK or GREAT BRITAIN)...and they made it as a whole...not individually...so no one country can claim it as their own....humans however...can. rollerball34
.... To come from the country that invented GTA? Many people actually are genuinly suprised when informed of it coming from our little island called the UK. But anyone who really thinks about it, the British influences bullying themselves into the game (Phil Collins being one) and the general British sense of humour, it becomes quite obvious! So yeh, how proud are you to be British? And how are you Americans feeling about playing host (Libery City = NY) to the greatest sandbox of all time? f*ck you for making a stupid topic
