Speedois
.... To come from the country that invented GTA? Many people actually are genuinly suprised when informed of it coming from our little island called the UK. But anyone who really thinks about it, the British influences bullying themselves into the game (Phil Collins being one) and the general British sense of humour, it becomes quite obvious! So yeh, how proud are you to be British? And how are you Americans feeling about playing host (Libery City = NY) to the greatest sandbox of all time? Lamius
The office was in Scotland, but there were a few guys from all over in the team, before they took it to the states. I'm glad the series finally got the world coverage it deserves. The first few games had no notice from the rest of the world, and only did good over here in the U.K, and a few other parts of Europe. The first 3-d version was dismised my IGN as a "glorified racing game". We should never forget that. If I'm honest though, it has become a lot better with the guys from the states involved. The working together of the two nations made it what it is today. It's pretty much like everything with our American cousins....when we work together, we can get anything done. We still argue like cat and dog over the internet, though...
AAntichrisTT
Not so proud to be English/British anymore, used to be but the politicians have f*cked this place up. It's all down hill from here thats why i'm likely to be over to Canada once my missus passes her exams.

DDR Midian
Well either way, I'm fairly sure Sam and Dan Houser were born in England. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I think it's just David Jones who was Scottish. Not that it matters much, there are plenty of people working to make GTA what it is, including a load of Rockstar staff over in the states. So while I think it's nice to think of GTA as a UK-born franchise, by now we should all just feel proud as gamers, since the entire dev team are essentially just gamers, and it's the passion we all share that makes GTA amazing.
