Anyway this song sucks, Akon was already featured on 478 songs in 2006 and 2007 . . . Gimme that serious sh*t from the late 80s early 90s rap/hiphop scene...it was bananas, son. All I hear is poprap these days (I like that term, it fits) - and I can't stand Akon. Or the Gaie Unit. Or Souljah boy...he doesn't even rap, he just talks/sings hooks in that horrible country twang of his. Someone said 2Pac sucks...that's hilarious, but Common is the beast? Not taking away from Common because he has skills but Pac sucks? LOX had some fresh sh*t, can't forget Gangstar, who eventually became guru, NAS his illmatic tape was especially dope. methodman & redman but thats more back to wutang again. Alot of this stuff came out before most of you guys were even born or were too young to listen to it. Then that area had, like others are sayin a huge underground rap scene. One that comes to mind that was especially dope but never made it commerical or MTV was Buddah Monks, guess some of these guys keep it too real for tv. I was born in 89 but grew up listening to a lot of that music because it was al my brother and his mates used to play.
